CLARIS completely filters out water, leaving the necessary minerals for the perfect coffee: pure water for true enjoyment.
The new protection formula was developed especially for modern coffee machines equipped with the One-Touch Cappuccino function. It contains minerals that neutralize calcium carbonate. It does not settle in the water supply system even with frequent use of steam.
CLARIS offers even more: as well as protecting against lime, it also filters out many other substances that damage the taste and aroma of water. However, minerals that are important for health are left in the water.
CLARIS Blue works on a professional ascending principle and always filters out exactly as much water as needed for each cup. Thanks to a newly discovered formula, the filter elements are ideal for tap water anywhere in the world. Modified granules always filter lime to the optimum level (even if the water hardness is low) and reduce the presence of harmful substances even more effectively than ever before. Minerals and fluorides, which are important and necessary for full taste development, are fully preserved in the water. Optimal limestone stabilization and efficient filtration of harmful substances always ensure excellent water quality for a perfect cup of coffee.
Proper use of CLARIS completely eliminates the need for descaling. Limescale-free pipes, the pump and the heating elements significantly extend the life of the machine and preserve its value.
Only original CLARIS filters can be used in JURA coffee machines, which will ensure accurate water flow. When buying a filter, make sure that the packaging bears the JURA quality mark.

When water is heated, limescale is deposited. Pipes narrowed by limescale not only slow down the heating process and therefore consume more energy, but may even cause the machine to break down completely. Limescale also has a negative effect on the coffee itself. Although a small amount of calcium carbonate is important to the flavour of coffee, too much gives the water an unpleasant aftertaste and prevents the coffee aromas from developing as they should, partly due to fluctuating water temperatures.
